Every now and then, I like to send this iPhone Blog a little off topic and this is one of those occasions.
As well as claiming free gadgets, another hobby of mine is bodybuilding. I’ve been training naturally now for a few years and during that time I’ve gone from a 9 stone skinny guy to a 13 stone stocky guy (I’m only 5 foot 6 so this isn’t too bad).
Recently, I’ve hit a bit of a plateau. My lifts don’t seem to be improving much even though my diet is good and I train hard., and I’m carrying a bit of excess weight (fat) on my upper body which I need to shift.
Rather than go down the hard core use of steroids – not that I would even know how to source such things, I have decided to run a course of a prohormone.
A prohormone is is intended to be a precursor of an anabolic steroid like testosterone, which is taken in order to boost the body’s available hormone supply. These precursors are intended to be converted to full, active hormones via an enzymatic process that occurs during metabolism. They are in tablet form so easy to administer, and should be run for a period of 4-6 weeks, after which a PCT (Post Cycle Therapy) should be completed to negate the effects of naturally reduced testerone production and elevated estrogen levels.
After much consideration, I have decided to complete a cycle of IBE Epistane, with Reversitrol for PCT, and a course of Lean Xtreme to reduce cortisol levels and maintain lean mass gains once the Epistane cycle is over. I will also run a full cycle support product throughout the cycle for liver protection, blood pressure regulation etc.
Here is a breakdown
Week 1/ Week 2 / Week 3/ etc
IBE Epistane: 30/30/30/40 (mg/per day)
Cycle Support – Starting one week BEFORE the Epi – finishing one week after
Reversitrol – Starting as soon as the Epi cycle is finished
Lean Xtreme – Staring 2 weeks after the Epi cycle is finished
All of the products will be sourced from Predator Nutrition as they seem to have the best prices and can ship overseas.
As for training, well, I’m currently trialling German Volume Training which is supposed to add mass whilst building endurance and burning fat, so will continue this until I order the prohormone stack. Once ordered I will switch back to heavy weight, low volume training for 2 weeks, and then go to a reduced weight, high reps or extra sets routine for the 4 week cycle.
Once complete, I’ll again switch to a heavy weight, low volume routine to try to maintain any gains I make during the cycle.
